Kenix graduated from the Music Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and received her Master degree at the Codarts Rotterdam Conservatory, the Netherlands. She has received lessons from Chan Siu Kwan, Frans Huijts, Roberta Alexander and Dongjian Gong. She is a founding member cum vocal coach of HK SingFest and is currently teaching in the University of Hong Kong and the Education University of Hong Kong.
As a concert soloist, she appeared in Durufle’s Requiem with Die Konzertisten; Poulenc’s Gloria and John Rutter’s Gloria with Hong Kong Oratorio Society; John Rutter's Mass for the Children with Hong Kong Youth Choir under the composer's baton. She also sang in productions of Hong Kong Arts Festival: Hong Kong Odyssey; chamber opera Datong: the Chinese Utopia (World premiere and London re-run) and Heart of Coral (Taipei re-run). She is 2nd prize winner in the 17th Osaka International Music Competition (Vocal Recital Course).
Her recent engagements include: Crazy in Love (China Tour) with Opera Hong Kong, Daniel Lo’s Two Ladies of the HK Arts Festival @ Cattle Depot Creative Hub, Bach’s St Mark Passion with HK Singfest, Separation – A Lied Recital on Robert Schumann, and as Praskowia in the Merry Widow produced by Musica Viva HK. In early 2020, she created together with HK singfest her first theatrical work Gute Nacht Mondlicht, a german lied theater in which she also performed as one of the four solo characters.
