Kiwi LAU

Kiwi Lau is a passionate music educator with certifications in Music Tutoring, Playgroup Teaching, and ABRSM Piano Grade 8. Apart from the piano, she also plays the violin and brings a rich background in performance, having received a music scholarship while studying in the UK. During that time, she performed in school orchestras, jazz bands, and community recitals.

Kiwi has extensive experience working with toddlers, young children, and children with special educational needs, especially in group music settings. Her teaching style is playful, structured, and nurturing, designed to help children explore music with joy and confidence.

In addition to music, Kiwi has a strong interest in mindfulness. She has organized programs at institutes like the Chan Art Academy (禪藝學苑), where she observed how art forms like drumming and singing bowls support meditation. She has also completed 400 hours of yoga teacher training, deepening her understanding of body awareness and mental clarity.

Combining music, mindfulness, and movement, Kiwi creates a calm and engaging learning environment for her students that encourages self-expression, emotional resilience, and a love for music.
